10-Year Chartering Anniversary Events held 9/5-9/6/2008
Thanks to all the Alumni and brothers that attended our 10-Year Chartering Anniversary Events on 9/5 and 9/6. I know that many had to travel into Flint from a long distance. Thanks for making the effort guys. The dinner at the chapter house on Friday night was excellent. Thanks to the Asection chapter for hosting such a good meal and getting the house into a very presentable state for the alumni and brothers that attended. Thanks to the 10 alumni/brothers who joined together for the Golf outing on Saturday. It was fun to get out and have a little golf scramble. We’ll have to do something like that more often. Bsection chapter had a great representation for the weekend given that they are on work term and many are out of the southeast Michigan area. Thanks for making the trip guys! The BBQ food was good. Thanks to all the alumni that brought a dish to pass and contributed donations. Special thanks to Mark and Sandra Gellis for helping so much with the setup, the brownies, etc… Special thanks to our special guests that were able to join us, Ray Galbreth (Delta Chi Executive Director) and Marquez Brown (Region 6 Regent). The softball game too was very fun. For many of us alums, it was obvious it had been a while since we had played, but it was great. Here's to a great time and a lot of accomplishments in these last 10 years!
